2016 Senior Recognition Ceremony students marching in

The Wayne County Schools Career Center Eleventh Annual Senior Recognition Ceremony will be in the Boyer Gymnasium at the University of Akron Wayne College in Orrville on Thursday, May 25. The ceremony begins at 7 p.m., and students should arrive at Wayne College by 6:30 p.m.

All seniors and 13th year students will be honored. Every senior or 13th year student will go across the stage and receive a certificate in honor of their achievements.

Parents, families, and friends of students are invited to attend, as well as educators from all Wayne County schools. No reservations are needed; there is no limit on how many people may attend for each student.

Top seniors in each career-technical program will be presented and the Student of the Year will be announced. WCSCC-based scholarship winners will be recognized, as well as four Distinguished Alumni. Perfect attendance awards for two years at the Career Center will be given.

This program does not take the place of graduation for Wayne County Schools Career Center seniors. All seniors are also expected to participate in their home school senior activities. The last day of school for seniors is Friday, May 26.
