Skills:
- Deliver basic patient care in various healthcare settings
- Use Ohio Department of Health curriculum to prepare for the written and skills test to become a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA)
- Practice ethical standards, confidentiality, business etiquette, and professionalism when interacting with patients, clients, coworkers, and management
Credentials:
- State Tested Nurse Aid (Ohio Department of Health)
- ACT National Career Readiness Credential
Entrance Requirements
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Sign a criminal background statement
- Negative two-step Mantoux (TB) test, with a one-step update every year thereafter
- Pass pre-entrance WorkKeys assessment test covering Math, Reading, & Locating Information
