The following television stations will be used to report school closings:
When five Wayne County school districts are closed, the stations listed above will be called to announce that the WCSCC is closed.
Click HERE for our daily schedule and 2-hour delay schedule. If a student's home school is on a 2-hour delay, they can arrive at the delayed start time.
Adult Education
For activities that begin BEFORE 3:00 p.m.:
When Career Center High School classes are cancelled, all Adult Education classes are cancelled as well with the exception of clinicals that have started. The clinicals will continue until completion.
When Career Center High School classes are delayed, Adult Education classes will start at 10:00 a.m.
For activities beginning AT or AFTER 3:00 p.m.:
Evening classes will be held unless a closing is announced. The decision will be made as early as possible. The district offices are not staffed during school closings; please monitor the stations listed below.
