Many students at WCSCC choose to use their time in high school to get a jump start on post-secondary education. Check out the information below to help you with college connections.

Earn College Credits

Students at the Wayne County Schools Career Center have the opportunity to earn valuable college credits for some of their academic classes and in most career-technical programs.

Students are able to take dual credit courses on our campus in conjunction with Stark State College. Approved courses will fulfill high school credit requirements while earning college credit upon successful completion. This is an excellent opportunity to earn tuition-free college credit as a high school student. Courses are currently offered in English, Math, and Political Science. See the Course Offerings or your counselor for more information. You can contact the guidance department at 330-669-7020.

Career Center students can also participate in Post-Secondary Option, earning both high school and college credits, by taking qualifying academic classes at local colleges or universities. See your home school district for details.
