The Wayne County Schools Career Center will host an Open House on Thursday, December 5, from 5-7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend, with a special invitation extended to all Wayne County eighth, ninth and tenth graders and their families. High School juniors are invited to tour the RAMTEC facility and learn about two half-day programs for seniors only, Machining Technologies and Robotics & Automation and High School seniors are invited to explore Adult Education programs.

WCSCC Annual Tailgate Party

The Wayne County Schools Career Center is gearing up for its annual Ohio State vs. Michigan tailgate party on Wednesday, Nov. 22 from 10 am- 1 pm. Donations will be taken at the door and the public is invited to attend the all-you-can-eat event. Profits will benefit the Culinary Arts and Hospitality customer service programs, which sponsor the event. Program instructors are Peter Kerling and Kathy Hanna, respectively.

Driver's Ed at WCSCC

Among the many trade and academic classes available at the Wayne County Schools Career Center, Driver's Ed is the latest addition.

Eligible students- those having obtained their learner's permit and become members of the Career Center's Drug Free Club- may take the course for free. The entire course can be completed during school hours saving time for families.
