On Tuesday, September 15, Wayne County Schools Career Center Adult Education proudly celebrated the Practical Nursing Evening Class of 2026 during their pinning ceremony.

Family members, friends, instructors and staff gathered to recognize the graduates and celebrate this momentous occasion in their lives. The evening marked the culmination of countless hours spent in the classroom, lab and clinical settings preparing for careers dedicated to caring for others.

The Practical Nursing Evening Class of 2026 graduates are:

Alexandra Beard
Ashley Canfield
April Doss, LPN
Raechel Fahrni, LPN
Cierra Fry
Kadence Gehring, LPN
Sydney Schaadt
Amanda Tanner
Jennifer Underwood, LPN
Emily Wallace, LPN
Kailyn Wickens
Hannah Young

The ceremony was especially exciting for five graduates who had already taken and passed the NCLEX-PN prior to the celebration. April Doss, Raechel Fahrni, Kadence Gehring, Jennifer Underwood and Emily Wallace were able to celebrate the evening as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)!

The class also celebrated its academic honorees, with Hannah Young recognized as valedictorian and Jennifer Underwood recognized as salutatorian.

The remaining graduates are preparing to take their NCLEX-PN as they continue toward the next step in their nursing careers.

Through the highs and lows, long evenings of class, clinical experiences and plenty of hard work, the Class of 2026 persevered and made it to this milestone together.

Congratulations to the Practical Nursing Evening Class of 2026! We are proud of all you have accomplished and can't wait to see where your nursing careers take you next.
