Class will include the Certified Billing and Coding Specialist Industry Credential. Students will have an opportunity for a Billing and Coding internship.

This part-time (260 hour) course is designed to build skills needed for the billing and coding field. Areas of study include Medical Billing and Reimbrusement Management, Physician Practice Management and Medical Insurance, along with an overview of ICD-9 and ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS. As part of the program, you will prepare to take the Certified Billing and Coding Specialist industry credential.

If you would like to take the AAPC Certified Professional Coding credential, a separate test fee will be payable to The American Academy of Professional Coders for membership and certification testing. This fee is not included in our program cost.
