The Wayne County Schools Career Center celebrated 20 graduates of its Adult Education Practical Nursing Day Class of 2026 on October 13, 2026, recognizing their hard work, dedication and perseverance throughout the program.

As of publication, 12 graduates have passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN): Sasha Bartolic, Jennifer Barton, Jamie Basnett, Laurali Bearden, Brittany Boreman, Danielle Farley, Chelsey Morr, Maggie Olivieri, Rachel Smith, Samantha Stake, Bryce Thompson and Shari Wagner. The remaining graduates are preparing to take their NCLEX-PN as they continue toward the next step in their nursing careers.
Through classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experiences, graduates developed the knowledge and skills to prepare for their next steps in health care.
