WCSCC Students Earn National Recognition at Educators Rising Conference

Wayne County Schools Career Center's Early Childhood Education & Care students brought home top national honors at the 2026 Educators Rising National Conference, held June 20–23 in Portland, Oregon. Competing against future educators from across the country, WCSCC students demonstrated exceptional teaching skills, creativity, and professionalism.

 

Leading the group was Brianna Jentes, a 2026 Norwayne High School graduate, who earned first place earning her national champion status in Lesson Planning and Delivery – CDA. Payton Isaac, a Rittman High School senior, also delivered an outstanding performance, earning third place in the same event.

WCSCC also celebrated another national podium finish as Olivia Warren, a Triway High School senior, and Hailey Miller, a Waynedale High School senior, earned third place in Interactive Bulletin Board, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and instructional design skills.

Additional national recognition went to Addison Diller, a 2026 Wooster High School graduate, who earned a Top 10 finish in Lesson Planning and Delivery – Humanities, and Elizabeth Cole, a 2026 Wooster High School graduate, who placed sixth in Lesson Planning and Delivery – Career and Technical Education (CTE).

The Educators Rising National Conference brings together thousands of aspiring educators from across the United States to compete in events that develop and showcase the knowledge and skills needed for successful careers in education. The conference also provides opportunities for networking, professional development, and leadership growth.

Wayne County Schools Career Center congratulates these outstanding students for their remarkable accomplishments and for representing WCSCC, their partner schools, and their communities with excellence on the national stage.
