The Wayne County Schools Career Center kicked off its Drug Free Club for the school year with a record-breaking 574 students voluntarily joining the club — the largest membership in WCSCC Drug Free Club history.
As part of the kickoff, WCSCC welcomed Agent Timko from Medway, who spoke with students about the importance of making positive choices and congratulated them for choosing to be drug free. He encouraged students to take control of their futures and not allow drugs to determine where they will go in life.
“Don’t let drugs determine where you’ll be in life. YOU determine your future!” Agent Timko told students.
Drug Free Club members will receive their membership cards soon. Students are encouraged to carry their cards with them each day to take advantage of special rewards and perks offered throughout the school year.
