This is a two-year program for high school juniors and seniors
Skills
  • Apply animal, plant, and environmental science to the production, nutrition, management, marketing, distribution, and processing of crops and domesticated livestock
  • Examine causes, symptoms, classifications, and treatment of livestock diseases to develop preventative health management plans
  • Develop business plans, financial reports, and strategic goals with emphasis on marketing and management skills for agricultural industry

Additional Information

The AgriBusiness & Livestock Production program is where business meets the science of farming and agriculture! These courses can be taken as high school courses or as an additional optional College Credit Plus Program allowing students to get college credit while attending their junior and senior year at WCSCC.

Students enrolled in this program are members of the WCSCC FFA chapter, where they have the opportunity to participate in competitions, develop leadership skills, and engage in community service projects.
