Laboratory and Field Experiences:

  •      Teaching preschool in an early childhood classroom
  •      Working with infants and toddlers
  •      Teaching in kindergarten and elementary school classrooms
  •      Teaching in Head Start classrooms
  •      Teaching children with special needs
  •      Preparing lesson plans in language and literacy, music and movement, art, sensory, dramatic play, science, math and social studies
  •      Leading parent conferences for preschool children
  •      Developing leadership skills
  •      Incorporating technology
  •      Learn childcare business & operations

 

Additional Information

Students in this program belong to Educators Rising (EdRising). It provides opportunities for competition, leadership and community service projects.
