About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring industrial press equipment to produce high-quality parts. You will play a key role in ensuring our production runs smoothly and that every piece meets our quality standards.
Key Qualifications & Traits We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to stay focused and maintain concentration during long shifts
- Pride in your work and a strong sense of ownership over your tasks
- Reliability and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Previous experience operating presses or similar machinery is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate

Kennel Attendant (up to 29 hours per week)

Do you love working with dogs and have a passion for keeping them clean and healthy? The Wayne
County Commissioners are currently accepting employment applications for the position of Kennel
Attendant. The hours for this position will be up to 29 hours per week including Sundays, and some
holidays.

Now let’s get down to the important stuff, so don’t stop reading! Here are the things that you will
be doing. We’re not going to list everything, just enough to get you excited!

• Cleaning and sanitizing kennels
• Providing food and water for the dogs
• Assisting in the cleaning of the shelter and play yard
• Exercising the dogs
• Must be willing to work hard in all types of weather.
• Must be willing to work with and around all types of dogs, including potentially dangerous
ones.
• Health Benefits are not eligible with this position.
• Hours of the position are Sunday and Monday from 8:30am-5pm, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday
from 10am-4pm.
• Starting wage is $16.25/hour.
